Decorating advice plus Music Monday

When adding a new family member to your home, it is always important that she coordinate well with the woodwork and furnishings.

I'm not sure I agree with your general principle, although in your specific case, your new dog does blend nicely with woodwork and furniture. Tell us more. The dog looks mature. Where did you get him/her? How old?

gls, rabbit, crock, and stacy: I do hope you know I was joking about matching the dog to the decor, but some people do that with art work so why not dogs?

Lola (female) is retired baby mama from my daughter's kennel. Responsible breeders retire their dogs after just a few years of one litter per year. She's 6 years old and has many good years ahead of her. She's loving and loyal, quiet yet playful, and even loves cats.

My daughter raises well-behaved dogs like I raised well-behaved daughters. ;-)
