What have I been doing for nearly a week?

Among other things, I've been cleaning out this blog, deleting old irrelevant posts and (I know some of you will be disappointed) my 60 years in 60 days posts.  I'm working on a more detailed version to be read by my children  - only after my death.

I also changed my profile pic to an updated one. Although dark and a bit blurry, you can see that I haven't given up the long gray hair yet.  I'm beginning to look like an aging entertainer. (Why is it that only country western singers are willing to have long gray hair?)

One of these days I'll make it into pigtails and really be cool.

Or I'll pin it all up on top of my head and start going to church.

Cleaning out the blog and updating your profile picture? Something I really need to do. No, not your blog, my blog. So tell me, how do you defy age so well? Your long gray hair is beautiful and, frankly, you look like you're getting younger. Have you been living backwards perhaps?

I also just finished your "Meme of Odd Questions". Thanks so much. I laughed so hard I threw my back out. Now I can't walk. S'okay though. It was worth reading your answers.

Kirk: Actually I have been living backwards. On my 50th birthday I told everyone that from then on I would regress one year on each birthday because I'd probably end up in diapers going foreward or backward. So I am currently only 40 years old. Also it really helps to have a picture that is blurry and dark.

Sorry about the back problem. Now you literally will need to ROTFL.

Yikes, I meant forward or backward. Sometimes my fingers get ahead of my brain.

That was funny...can't wait to see the braids!

Stop by my blog to see the award I nominated you for....it's for blogs that I've just recently discovered. :)

Like Emmy Lou Harris, you look great with your hair the way it is! During one of my long hair phases, a woman told me that she loved the way I had my hair 'frosted'...

YIKES!! I didn't do that! Mother Nature and TIME did that!!!

I do love some Emmy Lou and Willie...

I hope things are great for you!

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!

Not pigtails. Not on a grown woman! Unless you are about to do a Brunhilde impersonation for a bet or someshuch.

And Emmylou Harris is indeed wonderful.

red and white: The real question is at what point does an old lady with long gray hair become a witch?

In actuality, the chances of me braiding my hair are about as low as me piling it up on top of my head and joining the FLDS.
