Meryl was robbed.

Now Sandra Bullock is being called "America's Sweetheart."

It used to be attributed to Julia Roberts.

Personally I don't understand all the gushing about either one of them.  Yes, they are both pretty and have nice smiles and bubbly personalities, but Academy Award winning actresses?  Neither is Oscar worthy in my opinion.

Don't you be dissing two of my favorite actresses. They're both America's sweetheart, (at least the male portion of America.) My bitch about the Oscars this year is that they gave Best Actor to The Big Lebovsky.

Sandra Bullock did turn up to collect her worst actress award (I think only the third ever to do so) at least she has a sense of humour. Not to mention the following - I quote from la Bullock...

'I decided for Valentine's Day I would do a special hair thing. I wanted to try to create a pink heart shape with my lower hair. It was painful. You had to bleach it first. There's something about bleach that feels like acid. Then I had to shave it. I was in so much pain, but I kept going and put the pink dye on and it went the wrong color'.

Erm... quite so.

Yep... I think I agree... I 'like' both of them... but not Academy Award-wise...

crockhead: You've seen enough movies that you should know an Academy Award winning performance when you see it and not be influenced by a pretty face. ;)

white: Oh, what some women won't do for their men.

red shoe: Thanks for having some sense.
