Two of a kind

Jason Whitlock rants about dead-beat dads again. Yes, it's not about the affairs, it's about the kids.

You can throw Mark Sanford , along with Steve McNair , into the growing group of fathers abandoning their kids for some ego stroking.
Between these two, there are eight young sons, who hopefully will learn from some other male what being a good father is all about.

Did you know that a larger percentage of non-custodial moms are deadbeats than dads? It's not something the TV reporters or politicians want to discuss, though, because they don't want to be accused of being 'anti-woman'. So all the deadbeat moms get a pass. I guess after Mary Winkler got off they figure 'whats the point?'

Yes, I agree with your analysis when it comes to non-custodial parents. In fact, I truly believe non-custodial dads get the shaft quite often.

But, these two guys are NOT divorced and if they have so much free time on their hands, they should be spending it with their sons, not wasting it on some pretty face to stroke their egos . The same is true for any mother pulling the same stunt. There's plenty of time to fool around after the kids leave home.
