Yes, Cat Stevens did indeed join in the call for Rushdie's death, among other things. It's such a shame. I mean, I really still love many of his songs, but I have great difficulty reconciling that love with the bile that comes out of his mouth. In fact, I can't reconcile it.
Great song!! After his conversion to Islam and name change (Yusef Islam), didn't he join in for the calls of Salmon Rushie's death?
