It takes good eyes and patience to do this
How cool is this? Dalton Ghetti, a carpenter by trade, makes beautiful, detailed art carvings in pencil tips using the graphite and sometimes the wood of the pencil.
Someone sent me an email of his work a while back. Amazing! I'd be cross-eyed and a raving loon if I tried to do even one.
ReplyDeletestacy: I would not have the patience either. And my hands shake too much, I can barely thread a needle.
ReplyDeleteYikes! Now that's quality...
ReplyDeleterabbit: I love art made from simple, useful objects and the artists for thinking outside the box.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! It took a moment for it to sink in that these were made from pencil leads *DOH!!!*
ReplyDeleteThat is incredible!!!
~shoes~
shoes: You probably missed it because the art is so, so tiny. Yes, incredible!
ReplyDeleteAwesome. Never seen anything like it.
